I have just bought a new ferguson video sender of e bay, got it today and set it up to send to the bedroom tv. Installed the sender to the sky box downstairs, then set up the receiver in the bedroom and got a pretty good picture at first attempt.
so I thought great, then I reallised it was a picture of somebody sleeping with just a bit of backround noise and thought strange big brother is not on the sky downstairs.
Then I realised it was a picture of a baby sleeping, then it dawned on me that the receiver was not on the same channel as the transmitter and the backround noise on the tv was of the kids next door playing in the garden.

So all I can assume that the next door neighbours have one of the baby alarms with video and it was picking up the signal on that.
I know you can pick your neighbours wi fi up but dont you think that is a bit bad when things like baby alarms are not secure and has anything happened to you like that

Years ago my baby monitor used to pick up all the local taxi firms radio jobs even if they were miles away, most annoying ; )

Would do whickerman but how on earth do you try to explain that to people that dont speak a worf of english.

Dangerous ground, they may get the wrong idea with so many perves around. is there not a screw that allows you to tune the frequency up or down a bit?

Agree with thundercrack, its only on one frequency though and there are 4 and no tweaking screw.
Anyway could not get a decent picture in bedroom of sky so decided to hard wire up to the bedroom and got a good pic now have put the video sender in the kitchen which is right next to the living room and getting a good picture there and no baby alarm showing.
