During WW2 which I doubt if you were around. When England was under attack jokes were made of Hitler, the Nazi party, Mussolini, Lord Haw Haw etc etc.

The IRA bombed England. Jokes galore were made about the Irish (and still are).

Then along came the PC party dictating what people should or should not laugh at.


I am getting on and a bit overweight. I do enjoy good jokes about elderly, overweight Englishmen.

Lenny Henry was on last night making jokes about blacks and laughing at them.

If an individual loses the ability to laugh at whatever
they think funny, they are lost and must lead a very sad life.
