Name 2 offences for which the Death Penalty is still in operation. I thought that the Death penalty had been abolished totally but the quesion setter is obviosly looking for 2 answers. I thought one might be treason but don't know the other.

Going back 30 years to my O-level British Constitution, I seem to remember that setting fire to HM Dockyards was also a capital offence, as well as an act of violence against the sovereign (or maybe any member of the Royal Family, or maybe actual assassination?). Maybe death sentence is still in operation fot these offences?
