im thinking of buying a porsche boxster year 1998 any one had 1 what are they like any good whats fuel consumption?

They are pretty good, but expensive to run (compared to a "normal" car). If you are concerned about the fuel consumption you really should consider something more mundane. Any repairs, no matter how minor, are likely to cost upwards of �1000, so 2 or 3 mpg either way should not be your major consideration. My friend has just had the brakes done (and some other minor stuff), and the bill was nearly �2000.
