Does anyone have any good ideas for a Halloween party involving 4/5 years olds?

Anything in bowls that kids when blindfolded will think is icky...i.e . cooked plain spaghetti left to go cold....sausages soaked in water so they swell up loads.
Nothing too scarey as theyre only 4/5!

Last year, a few of us mums got together and dressed a room in my friends house up with banners and decorations and had a fancy dress disco. We managed to get lots of halloween themed songs like monster mash etc. Foodwise, we had hotdog sausages cut in half with one end dipped in tomato sauce and plastic spiders in green jelly. The rest of the food was normal lol We played simple games like musical bumps/statues (changed to musical monsters!), apple bobbing etc. A great time was had by all!
hide halloween choclates(wrapped) in the garden
when it gets dark get them to go out with torches to search for them, its kind of haloweeny, its fun for them anyway.
Hang pancakes covered in syrup or jam or something sticky so they have to get underneathe them and eat without using their hands. My mam used to do that, it was ace. Remember to cover the floor tho.
