Why is there so much negativity and arguing on AB?

I come on this site to get away from my own personal problems and I find loads of people arguing and dissing each other. I thought this site was for fun and serious questions and for those asking for information. I didn't expect a full blown outbreak of war here, there and everywhere.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion but there are ways to express yourself without being rude.
