What unknown and obscure CD's are out there for the pink floys / dire straits?

I am afraid that that the best album can change daily: all are so good, from "Piper" onwards. As for obscure CDs, try the soundtrack to "Zabriskie Point" which has two original tracks plus a reworking of "Carefull with that Axe Eugene", retitled "Come in Number 51, Your Time IsUp".

ta for that oculist.....I do like my hubs choice of music but i i'm not a die hard fundi of the 2 groups like he is which is why i wanted some ideas.......at least i know what to start looking for...ebay here i come! :-)

pulse, dark side of the moon, the division bell, animals, more, the final cut, obscured by clouds, wish you were here, the wall, atom heart m other, meddle, ummagumma, a momentry lapse of reason. just to name a few !!

pink floyd wish you was here ,that is the dogs my favorite, but if it was my funeral ,and being a catholic funeral so they take ages ,i would play pink floyd s money so it would be even longer just to keep me well wishers out the pub i can almost here them now the bitch played that on perpose

Wish You Were Here is my fave album by the mighty Floyd. Animals is actually one of their lesser liked albums but still superb I think. Shaz, you may be better playing Echoes at your funeral if you want to hold people up!!

As for Dire Straits, Love Over Gold is very good but by far my favourite is the obvious Brothers in Arms.
