Yes.
Nope, it will be good for promoting sport, and bring wealth to the U.K
That can't be bad can it?
Bl00dy people everywhere again.
It did a lot of good in Manchester, and they came in on budget too. Don't think the olympics will somehow...
No, sport promotes healthy minds and bodies.
Just a bit worried about how the locals will be understood.
An army of interpreters will probably be required.
I'm sure visitors will receive a warm welcome, with that famous Glasgow kiss.
Ouch
Bet the waste loads of money on fireworks.
China, thought you had been sold.
Didn't think it would last, too much baggage I suppose.
Thats why I never bothered bidding.
I had one of those 'save the world' groups come rescue me so I'm back in my natural habitat. Although I'm obviously disgusted you didn't think I worth a packet of polos or something.
I did find an old one tucked down the back of the sofa, by the time I had washed it, bidding had closed.
Wow, you actually washed it?! You'd have won for sure with that attention to detail.
It was a bit sticky and covered in alsation fur, you never know where it could have been!

Better apologise to Gromit, we've hijacked his thread.
I like alsations. Wouldn't want to eat their fur though no matter how minty the taste.

I think you should apologise, I did it last time.

Apology accepted.

Pity there won't be a going off at a tangent race in 2012.
I think I'd be a contender.
Will they have to now include the Caber Toss as an event?

Will the English will have to subsidise these games? But then by the year 2014 perhapswe wil have got Scotland off our backs anyway.
I bet Alex Salmond doesn't press for independence until the English have paid for the games........
This is very slowly turning in to an anti scottish stance.
Bloody sassenacks!
Will new events include,

Skirt wearing.

Ginger haired javelin.

Indecipherable accent 4x100 word relay.

Random unprovoked assault steeplechase.

10,000m pub crawl (scotch only)

The "we want to have our cake and eat it face off" where each country bang on about wanting independence from their sovereign state but oddly never mention anything about launching their own currency, healthcare and welfare state.?
