Singles clubs?

Last night REDHEAD asked about a dating night.
Well tonight I attended a dinner of a local Singles Club... not a dating thing, more just for single people in the area to meet up and have dinner, days out, lunches, golf lessons etc.

There were 25 of us there...... 6 men and 19 ladies.
The men varied in ages (30-65) and one wore an orange satin shirt with a brightly coloured dickie-bow, another wore a pair of jeans and a fleece..
The ladies were aged between 43-60 and were all dressed to kill... cleavages on show, tight clothes and lots of sparkly bits....night-clubby.

Have I picked the wrong club?
Has anyone else been to anything like this?

Hi Redhead,
Would have loved to go to one of those key and lock parties with you (and yes would have lied about my age!!). But I left London on Wednesday and now back home in Mallorca.
Problem here is all men my age (46) date girls in their 20's, and most of my friends date much younger men.
Decided I just needed a few more mates here, so went along.
It was an absolute hoot.... but I had to come home to hoot in private...lol.
Think I may go again though as they have different people attend different types of doos.
There is a Christmas party on 22nd, so will report back on that one.

LOL Leggy, thought you'd say that....btw it was Mr chin piercing that turned up tonight in fleece and jeans and didn't look like he'd washed for a few days!
