I wish my brain cells would stop dying at such an alarming rate , I keep doing stupid things and today was no exception . I went into town at 11:40 am and have only just got back in. Well I say just got back in because I got back just before 2 but not in as I had locked myself out !
My keys were in my other jacket pocket .
So , I had to travel 2 buses to my step-fathers house to get his spare key . My poor dog must have heard me at the door and then heard me go away again ...doh

What did you REALLY say bm? bet is was more than doh xxxx
Aw! lol This is bound to happen to me sometime too....I keep putting my keys in the weirdest places and have to hunt for them everytime I go out of the house! lol
I gave a spare set to my mate, because I just know it will happen one day!
Easily done bigmamma. I had to get a glazier in once to take out a double glazed panel. Mr M had gone off for a few days and left the key in the lock on the inside of the back door and gone out the front. I only had the key for the back. So now I keep two keys in a small box buried in the garden just incase. Poor Porche I bet she was frantic hearing you on the other side.

I did feel sorry for her , especially as I had been to the bakers on the way home and don't you just know she probably knew , and was getting her juices ready ...lol
Lol christine , I actually said " Oh drat , how stupid of me "
Why not change your lock to a dead-bolt type? Then you have to use your key to lock the door when you go out.
Mamma, once I left my daughter at school past school closing time! It was Christmas, they were finishing early, I forgot!!!!!! I had my son at home still a baby, the sheer panic! The school was run by nuns, she was looked after by one of the teachers who had to stay behind and given a crucifix!!!!!! I ran with that pram lol xxx

Going off on a tangent here...My kitten Jessie is just so cute! She keeps wanting cuddles, so she climbs on the sofa and puts her front paws on my shoulders and starts "kissing" me, no way of escaping! lol I just love looking at her wee face then, because she looks completely stoned! Eyes half closed and bit of tongue hanging out of her mouth...pmsl!
I'm in a great mood now, bless her!
Awww Mamma sorry to hear that; and especially making you have to be out in the cold unnecessarily. But look at it on the bright side - thank goodness you step-dad was at home. If he was out then you would have really been out in the cold. Take care Mamma! x x
mamma, my bad memory started early on. When I was young, I lent my next door neighbours friends bike & brought a different one back, no lie lol! xxx
Big m; you don't have to change the door, just the lock.....if the association will allow you to.
dont worry about it. I lost my kitchen scissors other day then thought back to when I last had them and I cut my flowers with them on valentines, then remembered I wrapped the paper up with stems in with my scissors!! Had to go through wheely bin but got them back. :-)
if you have a back garden ,hide a back door key somewhere ,but not an obvoius place like under the mat where a burglar could find it

Awwww ~max~ , that is a lovely cute cat image , how sweet.
Hi figure , I gave him a ring on my mobile to check he was in , he doesn't go far at 84 years of age .
Hee hee skyep , that's really funny .
Well stewey , they would want a written request and would either turn it down , or tell me I could but have to pay for it. I know how expensive locksmiths can be !

Lol 4get , that's easily done too , I'm saying that because I have wrapped scissors away inside flower paper at the cemetery . As for going in your wheely bin ......brave you...
Glenis , I daren't do that , I live in a crime ridden area and if , forbid , I did get robbed I doubt my insurance would pay out .
xxxxxx
4get - Done that whilst peeling spuds! Left the peeler in the paper, wrapped it up and thrown it away! xxx
If your memory is bad get the Social Services to put a key
safe outside your door ..but you have to remember the number to access the key . Or how about a key on a chain on your purse ? Have taken your advise and OT are hopefully (fingers xed !!) going to get a new longer flush lever for the old boys loo ..as you said they did loads of
things for you ...many thanks for that ..take care

I once went to the bank and got my benefit money , then went to post a letter ..........yes .....correct......into the letterbox went the money . I had walked nearly all the way home before looking horrified at what was still in my hand......
the unposted letter. Not sure where my mind was that day.
I had to go back to the post office and explain , and then wait til the box was due to be emptied , which was when I got my fortnights money back .
