One Flew Over The Cuckoos Nest

Hi all,
I want to write about One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest for my dissertation, but I'm not sure what aspect of the book to base it on/angle to cover it from. Of course, it goes without saying that my piece needs to be original, so does anybody have any thoughts or ideas?
Any suggestions will be very much appreciated.

Do you have to restrict your dissertation to the book. The film was quite excellent and was one of only 3 or 4 that gained Oscars for Best Actor, Actress, Director and Film.
