God and Devil

Why do you always hear about summoning the Devil but never summoning God. Can you summon God or is it because the Devil is a fallen angel (if my facts are correct) that you can summon The Dark Lord

its not the belief side, im quite agnostic about the whole thing

its just that you never hear any one go, "ill summon God today" lol

it always seemed to be more interesting to summon the devil than god (in the movies etc) you really dont hear of anyone summoning god know what ye mean

The Devil is a nasty piece of work - best not to make him seem a comic character or not take him seriously, or you may get to see him permanently.

I find this question a bit scary not because of what we can or can't do in this life, but because everybody dies, and by treating the devil or God as funny characters instead of the powerful beings they are, and that we will have to spend eternity with one or the other of them, we need to take our pick while we are still alive, then act according to our choice.
