Pygmies

A post in society and culture reminded me of that tribe of pygmies in the Amazon jungle, the Fakawi tribe. They are only three feet tall. Unfortunately, the grass where they live is four feet high, so they spend their lives jumping up and down letting people know they are there, shouting out "We're the Fakawi, we're the Fakawi !"

Maybe they didn't know where they were & were shouting "where the Fakawi, where the Fakawi"?

The old ones are the best!! Heard that about 30 years ago if not more. Gives my age away, doesn't it?

Yup, my Dad told me that one yonks ago. I was so young he modified it to the Heckawi tribe!

True.
And they lived next to a jungle wherein lived the Omigoolies tribe who used to swing round on vines. Unfortunately the vines often swung low down close to growing saplings.
