Lack of Love :(

I have been going out with my girlfriend for about 5 months; however, there's one thing bugging me: We haven't kissed I love her dearly but I'm not sure she does too: she says she does but the slight lack of communication really doesn't help. I ask for her to meet me somewhere, half the time she doesn't turn up. One other thing: when we say goodbye to each other, we don't hug or anything, just smile - I want to hug but she's gone before I have the chance. Help please x

Are you very young, and is this your first girlfriend,Lov????.......I will assume that you are,and I would say that you need to take things slowly-which it is obvious you can from what what you have said so far! Patience is a virtue-especially in love. When you are out walking together, take her hand or slip yours on her waist.....don't grab or hold too tightly. And let go before she does....keep this up for a few days. Then move on to arm around her shoulders-this just may lead to a hug or two. The whole idea is to let her get used to gentle physical contact-and hopefully she will want more....when those hugs happen take the oppurtunity to kiss her cheek or her neck.....if you get this far in say a week-you should have no trouble kissing her......but remember-she needs to want it as much as you do. good luck! ;-)
Hmmm, are you sure this your girlfriend and not just a girl you know.
Maybe subconciously you want her to be, but she never will be.
You have to spell things out to women. You need to make a move on her. If she knocks you back then you havent lost anything as you was never with her in the first place...
Maybe its you i don't mean to sound harsh but have you made it obvious that you want to kiss her, she may not be picking up the right signals from you so thinks you're not interested in more than what you've got, say something like " what would you do if i kissed you right now?" (i know it sounds corny but it will get an answer and if she says "i don't know" without a dirty or scared look then thats an invitation just go for it make sure she knows you care buy or pick her a flower its an obvious way to show you care and its really sweet if its just one big bunches are for special occasions.
Good luck

Pastafreak, I know what you mean. This is my 2nd girfriend ever - yes, I am young too. I appreciate the advice, thanks :D

MrBen5..well, I do know. She does love me as she told her friend (who's also mine) that she loves me.

Leapers, I've already asked - she wants to as well but she'\s just nervous and not ready

Um no SpamBammer - not a liable answer - not at all helpful
have you checked that you do not have the breath of a rotting bison, listerine is freely avaliable in most supermarkets. and extra strong mints are not expensive for those on a budget.

well, we do both want to kiss; its just getting our communication up I think

I think its both of our faults; not talking enough to each other: me trying to push her forward to the level, her for forgetting the majority of the times we agreed to meet etc
