Think we all need to be able to exist without the help of someone, even for a short time. Restores our self-esteem and confidence. It also helps prevent jumping from the frying pan into the fire. Good luck.
I'm definitely more patient the older I get.
But I don't have to worry about my biological clock ticking - I had my children at 21 and 23.
Although, I was reasonably patient with them even though I was young myself - I supose its because I had more energy.
You are obviously thinking about your bio clock - so if your relationship is as unsatisfactory as you are hinting it is, then maybe it's not the sort of relationship you should plan to bring children into?
If it can't be fixed - move on.
But remember - men don't like desperate women and it does show (dense as they are sometimes, bless 'em)
