hi there, id like peoples opinion on this matter as im stuck what to do. my week is made up of blue shirt work(customer service) and red shirt work (supervisor) on my pay slip i do 14hrs on blue shirt this shows up, contracted pay 14hrs x 5.52 and supervisor pay 14hrs x 6.66 i have argued the matter that my blue shirt pay is below minimum wage to the answer i get is my net pay is worked out blue + red divided by 28(my hours) = my hourly rate. but as my wage slip states it isnt wrote out this way. while i am in blue shirt i am being paid less that all the other blues. hope you understand my question.
a full week in blue, is 5.52per hr plus a manditory top up of 21p that is how it is wrote on there wage slip.
i feel im being penalised for doing a couple of shifts in red. red is 6.66 per hour
Stop doing your red shirt shifts for a couple of weeks (if you can of course) then when they have to pay you the extra 21p you can then decide if it is worth doing the red or not unless you would loose the red hours aqltogether that is...
