When you're feeling down...
40 Answers
What lifts you up? or what makes you feel better? Chocolate? Shopping? I realised the other day that when its time of the month and I'm wearing my big apple gatherers that dont match my bras that I really dont need to, and that wearing matching sexy knickers make me feel so much better at that time. Any weird things you do to cheer yourself up.

Apart from come on here?
I go for a sauna & jacuzzi. Not weird in itself, but 80% of the fellow jacuzzians are foreign & the another 15% are locals who are racist & resentful towards foreigners. It makes for some interesting eavesdropping. Luckily it is more funny than horrible; people round here do have a 'way' of putting things.
I just lay back and think of .... England?!

All of these things ("big fat ones" lol, sexy underwear, etc) just remind me I used to do other things apart from change nappies. And I am with B00 on this one, if they are clean, they'll do frankly.
What cheers me up? A nice cup of tea and an early night with at least five hours of unbroken sleep :-)

Salla it must be something about saunas! Although the area I live in is predominantly black, the sauna is always full of Asian women and one huge black lady, then me (white). Some of the Asian women don't speak English so theyr friends have to (badly) translate for me to have a conversation with anyone!
Red, since she has started nursery 5weeks ago we have had a housefull of non-stop coughing, sneezing, snotting, diahorrea, sickness, whinging, teething and anything else you can think of. And today as I dropped her off I found out they have chicken pox outbreak. Woo-*******-hoo!
