Happy 50th anniversary Tamla Motown!! My favourite kinda music. It's hard to choose just one but I'd say Going to a Go Go would be my no.1. What's your favourite? Which one did you buy first?
(it's Motown Monday on Smooth radio if anyone's interested)

'Baby Love' because it brings back such lovely memories of being 17(?) carefree and enjoying a very wild youth!!

Not my favourite type of music because I prefer rock, but certainly brings back memories.
this is a good one

Hmmm, you're right Lottie, being 17 was one of the best years of my life too... <sigh>

That's a lovely smoochy, end of the night track Dr. F but I liked the ones the 'dance around your handbag' tracks best of all!

ooh, brilliant tracks thanks! I'm going to be listening to them all day (in between the radio ones)...I'm expecting the gas service man...I hope he likes loud Motown. :o)

The first LP (!) I bought was Chartbusters Vol 3 with the lovely silver cover. It cost every penny I had on me & I had to walk home.
This is probably my favourite of all and a Northern Soul classic too.

Marvin Gaye - Pretty Little Baby
Martha And The Vandellas - Nowhere To Run
The Miracles - OOO Baby Baby
Brenda Holloway - When I'm Gone
The Temptations - Since I Lost My Baby
JR. Walker And The Allstars - Shotgun
JR. Walker And The Allstars - Shake And Fingerpop
Four Tops - I Can't Help Myself
The Marvelettes - I'll Keep On Holding On
Marvin Gaye - I'll Be Doggone
The Temptations - It's Growing
The Supremes - Nothing But Heartaches
Stevie Wonder - Kiss Me Baby
Martha And The Vandellas - You've Been In Love To Long
