... when you go a little bit pink in the face, either through embarrassment or feeling a bit uncomfortable, & some idiot shouts out at the top of their voice "Look - so&so's gone all red.....".

Everyone turns to look at you & the pink flush then turns into a full-blown face & neck blotchy rash just because some idiot has decided to make a bad(ish) situation worse by drawing everyone's attention to it.
Do you know what I mean?
Have they no sensitivity?

I've got less embarrassed the older I've got but never really went red as such , but cringly uncomfortable in my youth .

oh god Salla, i really Hate that too!!! I also hate that a woman at work keeps sneaking up on me and grabbing the back of my neck arrrrrgh, if i said "don't do that" once i said it a thousand times puts me in a mood!!!

Oh, I don't get embarrassed very much these days - not compared to say 20 years ago. I've had that much embarrassment, nothing really fazes me anymore. unless I drop a ballcock in a meeting or really put my foot in something, or something intimate is revealed without me really wanting it to be...!

I was listening to the radio on the way home from work last night & some squawking idiot says about a fellow presented - "Ooh look, he's gone all red." (Now, this was radio, so not many people would have actually witnessed his red face, but I just thought - I bet he just hates that woman at this moment in time.)
