Wedding Invite

I've been invited to a friend's wedding. The invite is for me "and guest". As i'm currently single, I don't really want or need to take anyone with me as a guest. This is ok presumably? Or will that muck up any numbers/seating plans that have already been arranged? Don't want to find someone to take just for the sake of it...

There should be no problem if you let them know well in advance that you will be going on your own.
I'm in that position as well and it's never created a problem.
