The one that was on here the other day about Katie and Peter
How long do you have zzxxee lol
Question Author
as long as you like liverpoolfoo
I'm not going to repeat any of them on here - but I get really het up when jokes go around about children that have been killed, or real life disasters etc.

My son sent me a text joke about jade goody the other week just before she died - I went ape. I was no great jade fan, but I don't find jokes about people dying amusing in the least.

ok fair point salla x
I wasn't telling you off zzxxee !!
Your question just reminded me of some of the jokes I've been sent where I've been rendered almost speechless & have failed to see the funny side.

I have a wacky strange lavatorial SOH, but not a cruel one. Or I don't mean to be anyway....?

i wasnt looking for a lets tell sick jokes to amuse me question just wondered why some people make them up, should of worded my post better me thinks
No - I know what you meant.
Some of them do make you want to question people's minds. There was one on here earlier today referring to Jordan's little boy Harvey. Now we all know the poor thing's disabled & blind - make fun of Jordan if you want; she practically invites ridicule at times, but not of her handicapped son. I didn't particularly like that one - but must admit I have heard even sicker ones.
That was the one I meant sallabananas.
And the madonna one? I got that too. Got deleted straight away.
It wasn't nice was it elcee, to say the least?
Imagine how you'd feel if he were your son?
I have to agree with sallabananna, I think jokes about someones loved ones that have just died are sick., I like a joke but there is a limit.
We all like a good joke even if it is a bit smutty but some border on being offensive.
I've been told and find many sick jokes quite funny. I'm aware it's a quirk of my nature and can certainly see how some might be offended so I don't go out of my way to re-tell them but equally I rarely berrate someone for telling me them, (they have to be extremely offensive for me to do that).

Humour is subjective, I find a lot of stuff I see on here quite offensive but again, it's a quirk of my nature so I either ignore it or if I think it's bang out of order (usually towards another user) I just report it. I think humour is a very personal thing.

i find racist jokes awful................. mmmmmmmmm i feel a debate about to start
Walked down the main street to see a man sitting on the pavement, dark glasses, badly and scruffily dresses, with no legs. In front of him was a begging bowl and a piece of cardboard saying " Falklands War Victim."
I put a 5 note in the bowl and he retorted,
"Gracias senor"
Sqad deserves stars.
Once again....too many and too rude to name xxx

moves on to zzxxee's next thread!!!

:0)
You see - I actually like that one of sqad's.

No children or animals were hurt during the telling of that joke. And the beggar was anonymous :-)

Greasy Dago.

Oh - and I hate racist jokes too.......
2 plies of sick were walking down the road . One of them says 'you see that step? that's where I was brought up'
