'An Oscar Winning Story' Quiz - Queries
0 Answers
This is the new Dean Gibson quiz, issued last weekend, (see http://www.kendalcorner.co.uk/QUIZ.htm ) - it's a 'fill in the blanks' story, where the answers are all films which have won an Academy Award.
I've had a couple of queries over on the sitesaver website ( http://www.sitesaveronline.co.uk/quiz/quizzes. php ), so thought I'd post the replies here also:
Query 1: My copy of the quiz does not specify the number of letters for each answer. The assumption is you count the number of dots. REPLY: Yes - each dot represents one letter of the answer.
Query 2: Can it be if it sounds right but not spelt right eg to for two that isnt the one I mean but dont want to spoil it. REPLY: Yes, absolutely! The idea is that if you read the story aloud it will make sense, with the film title in place e.g. 'Don't eat all the HAMLET me have some too'
Can I also mention that, although the quiz is available to purchase on-line, it is NOT downloadable or sent by email - if you buy on line, your quiz will be posted to you within 24 hours.
Many thanks & good luck to all who enter!
