My partner has had a baby 1month ago. The social sevices have told her that if she has any contact with me then they will take our baby from her. This is becuse she has made alagations of domestic violace to the police in the past, they are untrue and are made wilst she has been drunk. we wish to resume our relation ship. What can we do.

and when do you think this will happen again?
i think you need t ask the social work team what conditions need to be fulfilled to get it lifted - it might be there is nothing you can do. Personally i can't understand why you would want to get together with someone who gets drunk then makes up so many maliciuos LIES about you, AND tells them to the police? How can you love and want to be with someone who has basically *ucked up your life with her lies? she is obviously a very goos liar if the SS are stopping you seeing your own child on the strength of her false allegations made while intoxicated. So what happens the next time she gets drunk?
Have you been charged with anything?
So she has been drunk in the past? was this during the nine months she was pregnant or in the month since she gave birth? I assume you were together 10 months ago, and so i am going to make the assumption that she is not perfect herself!!!!!! certainly she is not putting your baby first!

More to the point -HOW do we know she lied - because you say so? I 've had two battered sisters in the past who came to my parents with the evidence ,black eyes ,bruises etc and they didn;t drink . Both returned to their husbands in due course and refused to let my father deal with it , This of course was in the Fifties and no help like there is today - women are too soft-hearted for their own good ( I'll never do it again - men's catchphrase- at least not till the next time) .I hope this young woman sees sense and doesn't let you near her or the baby .
Dolly1308 seems to have made her middle aged mind up already.

''I hope this young woman sees sense and doesn't let you near her or the baby''.

My advice to Mark is both go together to Social Services.
