My daughter's Xmas present

I asked the daughter what she would like for Xmas and she said she would prefer cash for Xmas and her birthday in March, as she wants a new car......I'm quite happy with this.
However, I do want her to have a present to open on Xmas Day.
I bought some Body Scrub whilst on a cruise, and have never opened it. Do you think I could give her this as a present or am I being tight?
I have checked on the internet and the same product retails for $90.00 in the US.

craft, if it an american product then dont you think she will be aware that you havnt bought it for her?

when my parents gave me cash one year they tied it to the string of a lovely helium balloon and wrapped it in a box. Why not do something like that?

lol.......zzxxee my daughter is not the fluffy steering wheel type and doesn't go for the pimps' fluffy dice look. I just don't want her looking disappointed at Xmas.....

Crafty, i don't think you're being tight. you give what you could afford to
however, if she saw the the body scrub before then it'd look a tacky.

do a pass the parcel type wrapping and put silly little things on each layer ending up in a massive box. i did this for a friend of mine when we were both v skint she loved it

lol Ankou, the year my mum did it, she asked next mornign what id thought of my gift.
Shouldve seen her face when i said me and hubby had been so drunk xmas eve that we had let the balloon go free once we saw what it was lol
