Made me laugh too, but in a 'Don't they teach them ANYTHING at school these days?' sort of a way............
i didn't think there were any polar bears in the antarctic, so i presume they got that part of the test wrong ?

ahms...I agree........hilarious .......and it made Kim A laugh.........?????????
kim a, without resorting to google, can you name 6 animals that specifically live in antarctica ?
Not an 'out loud, belly type' laugh. More an ironic smirk. It certainly didn't make me rofpml (or whatever the modern idiom is), so don't start with the aspersions.
Hmnn... emporer penguins, leopard seals, walrus seals, those little penguins who collect pebbles... those are the only 4 I can remember from Happy Feet...

Ankou, you're right - polar bears live in the arctic. It's why polar bears don't eat penguins - that and they can't get the wrappers off.

6 animals that specifically live in Antarctica? 2 male penguins and 4 females.
no asperity in my post. frankly i could only name one or two, maybe 3 animals at the most with any degree of certainty. and i went to a good school.

DEN...O.K I give in.....what is the "Afternoon Laugh?"
i would have gone for peter, percy, penelope, prudentia, philippa, paul and patrick.

percy and penelope are the mummy and daddy penguin.

kunni....tell me your surname isn't Lingus.
Ankou, I wasn't going to bother replying as you'd only assume I'd been googling the answer, but with my old-school proper education head on, I remember - in the seas and on the very edge of the coastal regions of Antarctica live penguins (several sorts), seals (several sorts) and fish. On these, live some small parasites. Inland, there are no animals at all, unless you count microscopic lichens and algae and possibly the occasional tiny worm. Certainly no bears whatsoever. Wish I hadn't bothered responding to the original post.................
it could be liculus, which is just as 'helpful'*

Kim....come on......just light hearted banter.
DEN,
just cut your losses, this lot are as thick as two short planks, and ignorant with it,
no offence meant to any one who happens to be on here,
