I like doing the laundry but dislike putting away the washed clothes. What household chore/s do you put off for as long as possible?

Sherrardk ... pairing up socks can surely be time consuming. I avoid that by hanging up socks last, and hang them by pairs.


Windywillow ... I haven’t much patients for pegging clothes; I just drape them on the line. And thank goodness they stay intact.

Oh yes Postdog that is a mighty task! It takes me forever!

I always check over my receipts when putting the shopping away, especially the groceries.

Both of my pet hates are up there - hanging out washing and changing duvet covers - why don't they make them open on three sides, so you can lay the duvet on it and then just close it together.

I don't understand your problem with changing duvet covers - it's simple. Now cleaning the oven.....ugh!

Putting a duvet cover on, oven cleaning and ironing

My no/ one household task is cleaning the fire place out in the morning after we've had a REAL fire.
Hoovering the stairs down because it gives me chronic back-ache.
But now I've solved that problem, - I've moved to a bungalow...
I put off ironing untill I've a HUGE pile then I iron into the early hours with a good old film on.
