Hi....before I ask my question I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who helped me cook my beef the other week....it was lovely :O}

Right....todays problem is.... Have my brother coming from dinner and was just going to cook a curry out of a jar, one chicken one prawn....now he tells me his partner is coming!!!!! If anyone was on my thread last week...she's the veggie!
I have...potato, brocolli, cauliflower, baby sweetcorn, onion and sugar snap peas.....tin of chopped tomatoes and a packet of Shwartz mix for Bombay potatoes, but no other spices.

Will the Bombay thingy taste alright as a curry base?

That'll teach her :-)
Fry off garlic and onions then incorporate the rest of your veggies then the bombay spice maybe a tad dry if so, add some water or stock

Cheers Poodi xxx

Oh believe me ummmmm I've done similar before ;o]
Your my kinda girl :-)
Divegirl... that is such a nasty thing to do... give a vegetarian some chicken and then lie to her about it being quorn... I am shocked ! How would you like someone to lie to you in this manner ? Please think about your actions and grow up. People are vegetarian for all sorts of reasons, some are religious, some are ethical, some are for health reasons.

I am not impressed with some of the other comments made here either... *that'll teach her* sounds like you guys are not impressed with people having different beliefs to you... sad and very narrow minded in my opinion.
cauliflower is the best curried, add whole hard boiled eggs, bombay pots & peas for greenery. Served with pilau rice (boiled/dried & fried) would suit veggie.
