adult shops - ann summers parties

JJs post reminded me of this

theres an adult shop here who was recently interviewed for local paper.
The guy who owns it said how its not really taboo now and many couples go in the shop together.

anyhow he has said that Ann Summers parties are a thing of the past because they are aimed at women only.

he is starting to do parties at people houses, but for couples instead of just women. He reckons itll be a really good way to sell.

what does anyone else think? Ive been to a few AS parties, the ladies have a giggle, joke about products and then put orders in at the end of the eve. I could handle such a party with Mr CRX at my side.

But to go to a party and have husbands of people i have never met? is it just me that thinks this would be awkward and embarassing?

I think some would find it awkward and embarrassing. I am fairly sure Mr BM would. He had quite a sheltered life before me. Mind you, I haven't had to take him to a sex shop yet cos I have a reasonable collection already!

Believe it or not, coming from me, I agree wit you red.
Home parties should be single sex. Or else they would just turn into orgies or wifeswapping. I would be a tad embarrassed to manhandle a *** or test a vibrat0r on the back of my hand if my uncle/neighbour/daughter's boyfriend etc was there.....

I would find it embarrassing too Red. I can't imagine men going to house parties and being open these things anyway. Women are much more ready to talk to each other about intimate things than men are. Men are much more underhand!!

I went to one Anne Summers party and thought is was really boring! Never went to any more.

haha BM. Mr CRX has no probs shopping in such places but i think both of us would find it awkward to be surrounded by people we didnt know of the opposite sex. Girls just tend to laugh it off and have a laugh.
