It's Fallas time in the Valencian Province and so supermarket opening hours are all over the place. I thought it best to go and do at least a week's shopping this morning, just so I'm covered. A couple of hours later I get back to the villa with 2 fillets of salmon, a dozen eggs, a tub of prawns, a handbag, a pair of sunglasses, a bottle of Bvlgari Jasmine Noir, a gorgeous scarf and a brand new loyalty card from Druni. Domesticity is my middle name. Move over Nigella, there's a new kid in town.
very well ta, feeling pretty dammed happy in a relieved kinda way, got my letter to say all is well after the 3 yearly mammogram, and realize how fortunate I am

I always think you have an element of "I hope everything is ok" society, I have a few friends who haven't been so fortunate so I count my blessings each day
Glad your results were okay, Bobbi. Breast cancer was what killed Tony's daughter. It metastasised and spread to her brain. But then her's was a genetic predisposition. My aunt had breast cancer a few years ago and her's was a very agressive one. But I daresay hers was down to lifestyle factors. She's always been a hefty woman and eats cheese like it's going out of fashion.
