chris evans breakfast programme radio 2

Could someone please get rid of this man??? I do not want to spend my breakfast time being exhorted (loudly) to "Welcome to Planet Earth"!!!!! etc. I want to listen to gentle humour, clever witticisms etc. This man is loud, not funny and I have to turn him off. I hate the programme now and I wish they had chosen Alex Lester or any of the other nice people who occasionally took over from Terry.

Hi stowfelda, I agree. I LOVE Alex Lester and would've loved if he'd taken over. Ah well, we seem to be in a minority though. Chris Evans is very popular. I didn't mind his drive-time slot but I don't feel his style is suited to mornings.

I really like Chris Evans and wish he would come back to the Drive time slot as i start work so early ive never actually heard him on the breakfast slot. I have to endure that crazy rubbish DJ that is Sarah Kennedy in the mornings, she is pants!

I loved Chris on the Drivetime slot but I don't think he is suitable for breakfast at all, I wish they had given the slot to Alex Lester (who I don't get to hear at all now) or Richard Allinson.I enjoy Sarah Kennedy, she has an excellent way of easing you into the new day but Chris is just too loud and childish. I now listen to Smooth Radio after 7am,if you live in the London area give it a try-its like a home for old DJs such as Paul Coia and Tony Blackburn!

I love the Chris Evans Breakfast Show. I was a big fan of Terry and there is no show like his - I'm not keen on the Sunday show with the live audience. Terry's morning show wasn't perfect, the auction he did for things that money can't but (I think it was called that) was goo fund-raising but way out of most peoples' league! I love Chris's music and the team are great, especially Moira. He's only been doing it for 3 months and you can't please everyone. Imagine if they're put the dreadful Steve Wright in that slot!!!!!
