P!ssed off with No Avatar,So P!ssing off!

As nobody (with an avatar) sees fit to help me,and the other Jelly Babies on my Grrrr thread,I am pissing off,and p!ssed off.
This so typical of AB(like when new AB was loaded) throw the new thing at us and not have any help or backup for those with difficulties,AND not really explain just how it all works.
I think I shall have a break from AB until it all settles in(if it ever does).

Errr the Ed has already said at least twice that ive seen how to do it, step by step. One of them being on the Blogs.

So instead of throwing a tantrum, try reading those, then following them. If that fails, maybe, just maybe it's a problem at your end??

If you won't register on the site that enables you to have the avatar, how on earth did you expect to it to work?

I think what it comes down to is that you will have to register with gravatar to have an avatar on here.

What I did Mr. Veritas was to download a Pic (Avatar) from another site and saved it into my Pic File. Log in to Gravatar.com and enter your E-Mail, Username and Password. Upload your Pic from your Pic File and when it loads in your E-Mail, click on it and click on the Jellyman in AB. Well that's what I did and it worked as there was no Tick Box in my Profile.

What browser are those of you using that can't see the tick box?

The box should be immediately to the left of the letter C where it says click in the box to use your avatar, try clicking there once even if you can't see the box.

Try clicking on the compatibility mode button just to the right of the address bar in IE8 and see if that helps.

I will not be coerced into registering with another site just to get one.
I wonder how nuch Gravatar is making out of this.
It seems that your Avatar will follow you to other sites that use Gravatar,so if you use a personal pic be careful.
I shall stay (what I am) a large pink blob.
It's not like this on the forum I am a moderator on.There you just download a pic fronywhere and use it,but of course we are not paying Gravatar for the "honour" of using their system.
No doubt I shall be banned for daring to criticise.

I have solved my problem Chuck, it's Mr. Veritas who is having problems but he has to Log on to Gravatar.com which he is not doing at present.
