Which is the best paint between Dulux Satin and Crown Satin for interior woodwork (doors, skirtingboards etc.,). They both promise the best results, just wondered if anyone out there has expeprience of both and could tell me which was the best and why.
Thanks.

Hi
I use both .. but usually Dulux. If its kitchen or bathroom, you are better with eggshell tho .. it's still washable but tougher with sheen.
Not much quality wise between Dulux or Crown.
If you're good with a brush, you will get a better finish with spirit based. If not, water-based. Everyone moving to water-based now.
Hi Trudy, I would personally always opt for the Dulux range as I have found it to be a more hardwearing finish as the paint seems thicker than the Crown ones. I know water based paints are being pushed more these days but I will always use the oil based ones where possible. Good Luck. Shed.
