problems with toyota tyres on my toyota avensis

I have a Toyota Avensis 04 which has destored / warped two set of tyres in the last couple of years, I have had the suspension check and that's OK, do you have any ideas

On the front or rear .. or both?
Warped? .. like "out of balance" wear?
Are they on alloys or steel wheels?
How many miles has car done total?

Just rear ,alloys I have done 42,000 miles

if the geometry comes up fine its going to be an inflation issue or possibly overloading the rear this can cause uneven wear, the other option is make of tyre.
Even the branded makes can wear quicker than you think , once bought a brand new XR3i went through the original tyres in under 12 months (8,000) miles, and no it wasnt driven hard...the next set lasted over 2 years..

the rears on the XR wore out 1st which is unusual for FWD vehicle, it turned out my wife had been loading it up with bags of animal feed !
