Is Capello an unlucky manager ?
http://www.guardian.c...tings-website-offline
The website finally went live last week, with many England players receiving notably poor ratings for their performances in South Africa. Goalie Rob Green was devastated to get the poorest rating .Capello immediately said he had not given his permission for the ratings to be published. "I did not authorise this and am angry the index was published," he said.
Like Englands performance in the World Cup, was this internet mess up poor luck or judgement on Capellos part ?
In view of this further debacle, should Capello now resign or still carry on ?

/////He is a very rich unlucky manager. He should carry on//// agree hes rich and unlucky - but not that he should carry on - he was responsible for poor selection, poor english, poor tactics, poor formation, poor player positioning, poor motivation of the team, playing an out of form Rooney and a too old Heskey and initially picking Rob Green over David James which largely contributed to the start of all our troubles - i think he lost the dressing room during the World Cup but if he didnt then he has now with his players rating index and its publication. He should resign - but he wont cos of the money - and they havent sacked for the same reason !
////its the players that need to be ousted Gerrard, Terry, & others. Their attitude stinks, and the game in this country is very outdated & was plain for all to see/// Dont disagree - we could do with a bit of a clear out !
//// England ranked No7 in the world rankings ! How is that justified, as that showing beggars belief ?//// Bet Paul the Octopus never predicted that ! lies, damned lies and statistics !

//// but due to the major influx of overseas players in the premier league Capello was rather short on quality English players fit or otherwise....Its alright bragging that the EPL is the best in the world, but all that dilutes the international team.& that was evident in South Africa////
true - too many oversees players in the Premiiership doesnt help the England Team cause but, even so, with what raw material we did have at our disposal we should have at least performed as well as we did under Sven in previous World Cups - In my view the fault for the African WC failure should be jointly shared between Players and Manager.
