I do sometimes wonder if I had met my husband now instead of when I was so much younger whether we would have worked out. But then again it was 5 years ago we split up and I have probably forgotten most of the bad bits

I got back with my ex and it was the best thing we've ever done! We're so much stronger and more relaxed than we were before. Previously we had been together for almost 5 years. I ended things when I was seriously ill with depression and was possibly self destructing? Anyway, we'd always been best friends and when we started chatting again after a year of no contact, everything fell into place. As a mutual friend wrote in a house warming card to us - True love finds a way! :)
