Can't answer your question....

But what day is the test?

I only ask because I think you are local to me and I want to know what day to keep off the roads :)
Well, if you know what date you passed your theory test, and you ring them, they may be able to trace, and verify your results, I would ring them asap!..............otherwise cancel the practical test, no point in wasting the fee!...........

oh god, what a dilemma, i might call my driving instructor tomorrow and ask him, you do need the number to book the test to begin with so i don;t even know why they wanna see it again. I think i will fail any way, i had a mock test today and failed after 5 mins then couldn't even reverse around a dam corner. God dam it!!!!!

i am tempted to do that daginge, but i think my driving instructor will tell me off as i was gonna cancel it last week as i don;t feel ready but he says i am.
The DVLA website (which is now buried within the 'DirectGov' framework) states that you need to take "the appropriate theory test pass certificate (or confirmation)":
http://www.direct.gov...cticalTest/DG_4022541

I've no idea what 'or confirmation' refers to in that link but it suggests that it might be possible to take the practical test without the actual piece of paper which you received after the theory test. I suggest contacting the test centre, where you took the theory test, to ask if they can provide a duplicate certificate (or alternative 'confirmation') in order for you to take the practical test.

The Driving Standards Agency seem determined to make it as hard as possible to actually contact any individual test centre. You might need to actually walk through their doors in order to get any information or advice. Alternatively you MIGHT be able to get the contact details by phoning 0300 200 1122 (which is the number for booking or changing tests).

Hi,

Theory test pass certificate is must at the time of your driving test.
You can do one thing contact DSA and ask them about the your certificate they will either give you certificate number or issued with a letter to say that you have passed.
That will help you in your driving practical test.
For more information visit: http://www.theory-tes...ng_practical_test.asp

Hope this will help.
All the best for the exam
