To the scum of Manchester

This is to the (NOT) so very kind lady who I sat next to on the train through Manchester the other day.

I had been on the train for some time when she got on at Manchester. We chatted for a while about nothing in particular and two stops later she got off.

As the train was leaving she tapped on my window, waved, smiled, gave me the thumbs up then pointed at my coat she had over her arm.

The coat was an old one with nothing but fluff in the pockets but that is not the point.

There is scum in every town and city in the world. I just found one the first time I happen to pass through Manchester.

Sorry no question I just wanted a moan.

Her acsent. The fact she said she was from Manchester.

She nicks your coat, so do you really think she was telling the truth that she was from Manchester, don't think so?

She might have come from Bolton or Oldham, they sound similar.

Seems to me she was under the impression in conversation you have offered to give her the coat or wanted rid of it . .Like .. its such a fine day I could do with out that coat .Dont know why I brought it as I need a new one its only fit for the bin .The good lady thinks that will be her good deed for the day .Thumbs up ment dont worry about this old coat I will dump it for you love.

Amazing to knock on the window and tell you, and not just leg off with it.... travel that journey again and give her the hat and gloves to go with it. Blooming cheek!

did you check the fillings in your teeth? only consolation is a probably not too valuable coat has made her a thief which just goes to show what sort of person she is.

P'raps she inadvertently put your coat over her arm as she got up, then walked out of the carriage with it. P'raps she then realised & was smililing & giving you the thumbs up, to say she was going to hand it in to lost property - you never know!

That'll teach me for putting stuff on the overhead rack to make room for her to sit down.

I like the idea of going again and giveing her the hat and gloves. I might put itching powder in though.

thats pretty bad though cassa, shocking because it was obviously premeditated on her part. It beggars belief that there are people like that in life.
