Numbness in thumb after canoeing
10 Answers
So i went on a canoeing trip a couple of weeks ago and since then the tip of my left thumb has been a little numb. I assume it's because of too much pressure on a nerve while holding the paddle but does anyone have any ideas whether the feeling to the tip of my thumb will completely return? Thanks

If the nerve itself is not damaged ( which it usually isnt in your type of injury) then it could take up to 2 months to recover.
For a more complete explanation, then Google.... Neuropraxia.
