Here is a little tip for saving money on your Christmas drink's budget. A friend of mine has just told me how to make cheap vodka turn into seemingly expensive vodka. Very simple really; just filter the vodka, once or twice, through a water filter. The only drawback of this is that any water thus filtered now tastes like cheap vodka. My suggestion is that you now have 2 water filters, one for vodka, and one for water. As a non-drinker I do not know if this will work or not, but let me know if it does.

Yeah, right! Life's too short... :-)
don't drink vodka it is evil
Once orange or tonic is added who can tell if it is cheap or not!

Cheap vodka or not, it all goes down the same way!
vodka is not generally drunk for its flavour...or lack of it...so who cares?
we're getting the ready mixed tins for our Christmas party, trying to stop one person drinking nearly all a litre bottle like last time...
A good tip for a boozy starter is to feed Vodka into a Melon (your choice of which type) for a few days before serving, yummy.
Pouring vodka through a water filter?

Is it April the 1st?
There is only one receptacle into which I will pour my cognac or brandy and it is not a melon mamya!
Your facial orifice ttfnx
The vodka through the Brita filter really does work. I've done it many times. Although i'd filter it 4 or 5 times rather than twice. In blind taste tests the Brita Cheapie Filtered Vodka beat both Ketel One and Grey Goose Vodka. Allegedly supposed to help reduce the hangover the next day as well......although i didn't really notice! Ha Ha!
now thats different...less hangovers is very important...has anyone tried for that reason and knows if it lessens them...?
but if you need to buy a second water filter - surely you might as well buy the more expensive vodka in the first place!
