007 RACING ON PLAYSTATION

Can anyone please HELP!!! My son is driving me crazy because he can't get pass level 9 RIVER RACE in James Bond game 007 RACING ON THE PLAYSTATION. It's rather an old game, must be 10 years or so.
It took about 10 years to get past the previous level - very infuriating game - as his Mum I don't want to spend another 10 years trying to help him win this level!!!
