anyone got 3D TV?

Insurers have almost settled our claim for TV and we are now looking at replacements.

Has anyone got a 3D TV? we saw a few in store and price has recently plummeted so were considering? But what sort do we go for, as there are 2 types, one that only plays true 3D films etc and one that converts 2D to a 3D (a bit hit and miss at times apparently though)

As no programmes are broadcasted in 3D from what I can see, it would seem a waste of money

red I would hold fire and do a bit of research. At the moment the uptake of 3d tv is not reaching anything like expectations. Theres a possibility its the next Betamax or video disc.

thanks guys. Obviously we want to keep up with technology, and having to replace broken TV is opportune moment to do so. But yes, we dont want to be stuck with a dud lol
