Drean interpretation?
Can you help me explain this dream.
it basicly involves me and a friend hanging out and walking through a suburban neighborhood in southern California similar to what you what you would find in orange county. Or one of those places near the water with rolling hills. Me and my friend were then hanging out at someones house. there i was sitting at a table hanging out with a slim blonde girl. She had kind of a breeze relaxed style. she asked me would i like some pizza. it was kind of a laid back party environment

Sounds a fairly normal narrative dream to me. perhaps you had either this girl on your mind, or you'd been watching a film or reading a book and it was still in your memory.

My dream last night....My heart was outside my body and I had to carry it round with me.

The only thing I can connect it to is my Nan having a mastectomy and having to hold the drain in her hand...

But why two weeks after her op? When I knew she'd be ok?

Simple Ox...everything in the dream is a representation of yourself....a projection of parts of the self that dies not 'fit' with how you see yourself....e.g. can you see yourself as a slim blond with a kind of a breeze relaxed style? Freud referred to dreams as 'the royal road to the unconscious'....everything in the dream is all you and all about you....enjoy...

Moriarty, Its quite common for people to relive traumatic incidents when everything is sorted and safe.Often this happens in R.E.M. sleep. I was a mountaineer and enjoyed exposed situations but now I dream of them and its not fun. Just wiping memory clean I guess.
