You know christmas has been and gone when......

The dish of satsumas/mandarins/clementines with bright green leaves (now all dry and curled up) are slowly mouldering away in the fruit dish
You have an unopened box of dates (camel on lid)
A pack of figs, with plastic fork, one taken out)
There's only orange/strawberry cremes left in the tin of Roses
You have a lump of cheese - something like white stilton, with cranberries and blueberries, seemed like a good idea at the time!
You still have a Christmas pudding, unopened, (and one from the year before, and the year before that in the back of the pantry but you buy every year, 'just in case'
The only thing left in the After Eight box is the little envelopes
And there's a box of Meltis crystalised fruits on the side with two out, grandad decided he didn't like them after all.....too much sugar!
