I'm going to Kiruna in Sweden next Saturday for a 4 day husky sledding experience! I'm sooo excited. it's something that I've always wanted to do so I thought it's now or never!
I'm raising money for a local mencap centre where my sister-in-law goes (she has downs syndrome)
anyone else ever fulfilled a lifelong dream or let one pass them by?

that sounds amazing, Would I be able to go to see Garth at the Wynn if I helped raise money too? I could get sponsorship for how many ait miles I had to do?

you could raise the money to see your beloved Garth by doing anything you want Dotty. maybe a bunjee jump lol
jubie - that sounds fabulous - hope you have a brilliant time, and do well for the charity. I have never bothered with lifelong ambitions, just grateful to get through life on a daily basis. I admire annyone who fulfills theirs though ♥
I did about 10 years ago. I went on a Safari in the Masai Mara. It was wonderful to see wild animals in their own habitat.

The husky sledging sounds great. It`s not a lifelong dream exactly but when I was 19 I went to Africa and saw Kilimanjaro. I said that one day I would go back and climb up it and I did. Flippin hard work though!
:o) I think the excitement and adrenalin will keep you warm jubie, not to mention running after the huskies each time you part company from the sled - only joking.

dotty. I've self funded the trip but thought that as it was a challenging experience, I would raise some money for a worthwhile cause close to my heart. all the money I raise will go to the mencap centre,
ahh right, that's brilliant, I thought that there was an organised husky sledging charity event held and you'd entered and got sponsors, well done
