Blister Packs from Pharmacy......
8 Answers
My elderly mother gets her medicine made up and delivered from Boots. I was amazed today when I checked the 4 weeks supply that arrived while I was visiting her......on one of the days of the week 2 tablets for her blood pressure were added to the next day! And when I checked the labels of the opposite sides of the tablets they had added an extra 75mg aspirin tablet per day!! I have rung them up and spoke to the pharmacist and they have agreed to come and collect the packs tomorrow to be checked.......do you think I should go in and complain or perhaps write?

We had to check in and sign in everything. I preferred the days of the original boxes, because at least you knew what you were giving. It may be worth getting the medication in packets, and putting them in a Dossett box for her yourself?
My M-in-Law used to have her prescriptions made up by Lloyds who also made mistakes. It was also very difficult to get any changes in medication sorted out for what seemed like weeks.
The solution we found was to go to an independent pharmacy. They were brilliant. No mistakes and much more flexible about changes.
Sadly they are rather thin on the ground now.
Alternatively, as other have suggested, you can make up a pill wallet weekly yourself.
To answer your question, I would complain both verbally and in writing.
