try not to be anthropomorphic if you are watching a nature programme
I didn;t want to know that lol
I might watch it on catch up. Is it like the programmes they did called Natures Giants or something like that? The whale one was good.

Its depicting the variety of animals that will feed on a dead animal, the clearing up process, how it all happens, from vultures to lions etc etc...it is great viewing but disgusting at the same time....the stench much be awful ! Well done to the camera people though.
Hubby is watching it, trying to avoid looking at the tv. Otherwise I may be seeing my dinner again!
Sorry, I do not know what that word means, bibblebub, but I am not scared of spiders if that is what you mean. I thought this programme was gross too, and only saw the first half hour. How long did it take to be completely eaten, by the way? Have any humans ever eaten this kind of meat?
@JonnyBoy12, anthropomorphic means ascribing human characteristics to animals, nature etc. e.g. rabbits are cute but hyenas are 'horrible', foxes are 'cunning' etc.

By the way, what's with the OP's "eeeeuwww". What happened to the good old British "Yuck" or "yecch" or "euuurrrgh". Thanks to Friends everyone now emits this puny weedy "eeewww" when expressing disgust.
I thought the amount of maggots and the 'soup' they created was fascinating. I wish they had ended the film with a time lapse of about 60 secs showing how the carcass degenerated over the 6 days or so. Also, I wonder what the game wardens 'do' with the locked up tusks? Are they just going to sit in that store room forever?
Ha! I was in the pub with my mate last night and he told me he'd taped this programmme where they'd filmed a dead elephant and all the animals that came along and fed on its carcase. Quick as a flash I said, "Is it one of those Carrion films?!!!"

He didn't get it...
