Presents for three year olds
24 Answers
My two year old twins turn three in three weeks time and I am looking for present ideas for them. Our house is packed to the rafters already but I can't not get them something. I don't do browsing in the shops (as shopping can be a nightmare with two two year olds) so I am not aware of anything that is new or different. Thanks for any ideas.

When they were 3 I got them a biggish low table that had a large cavity with a lid. It was for a sand pit or water and could be used in the garden or house as you wish, It also had bits and pieces like a watering can, buckets, moulds, they absolutely loved it. This year I am getting them
a pair of heely wheely trainers. Mum approves of that. The girls have changed drastically, one insists she is a boy, will only wear trousers, borrows her older brothers ties, pinks, red and mauve are taboo. If you say come on girls you get I'm not a girl i'm a boy. She reckons her willy is still trying to come out!! The other one is very girly.

They're just a few possibilities which caught my eye when browsing through the Argos catalogue. I you've got a copy, it could solve your browsing problem because the toy section is organised roughly by age.

Hi carandog, these are a boy/girl set and very true to their genders. They have three elder siblings (10, 7 and 5) and we don't throw anything out unless it's broken so the house is bursting at the seams with toys. I am one of girl twins and I was the tomboy and my sister was the 'girly' one, but I suppose all kids are different. (PS - have one of the things that you describe and it's brilliant ithe summer.)
Activity books prepare them for creche, plenty in supermarkets.

We brought my cousin one of these; don't see him very often so not sure what he thought to it but I think it looks great fun!
