My two year old twins turn three in three weeks time and I am looking for present ideas for them. Our house is packed to the rafters already but I can't not get them something. I don't do browsing in the shops (as shopping can be a nightmare with two two year olds) so I am not aware of anything that is new or different. Thanks for any ideas.

I have twin girl grand-daughters who are 5 in april. When they were 3 I got them a biggish low table that had a large cavity with a lid. It was for a sand pit or water and could be used in the garden or house as you wish, It also had bits and pieces like a watering can, buckets, moulds, they absolutely loved it. This year I am getting them
a pair of heely wheely trainers. Mum approves of that. The girls have changed drastically, one insists she is a boy, will only wear trousers, borrows her older brothers ties, pinks, red and mauve are taboo. If you say come on girls you get I'm not a girl i'm a boy. She reckons her willy is still trying to come out!! The other one is very girly.
I want to play!

They're just a few possibilities which caught my eye when browsing through the Argos catalogue. I you've got a copy, it could solve your browsing problem because the toy section is organised roughly by age.

Chris
i like how you had to state they were 2 shadrack :-)

Hi carandog, these are a boy/girl set and very true to their genders. They have three elder siblings (10, 7 and 5) and we don't throw anything out unless it's broken so the house is bursting at the seams with toys. I am one of girl twins and I was the tomboy and my sister was the 'girly' one, but I suppose all kids are different. (PS - have one of the things that you describe and it's brilliant ithe summer.)

Hi forget, now you mention it it is bl00dy obvious!

Hi Chris - thanks for that, I didn't realise that the Argos catalogue was divided up by age. Will have to get one later in the week.
go to the website, you can search by age on that too x

Cheers forget, I didnt know that either. If I get a catalogue from the shop I will have to get one for each of them so that will just be more crap in the house!
My twins also have 3 older siblings 14, 11 and 9, they too have so many things, also, their house is bursting is at the seams.
Activity books prepare them for creche, plenty in supermarkets.

We brought my cousin one of these; don't see him very often so not sure what he thought to it but I think it looks great fun!
bought**
kids trampoline for outside play
My ex also has twins ( 2 sets actually) and this Christmas I got them a large activity tunnel- which seemed to work great as they spent practically the whole of Christmas scuttling through it and then sleeping a lot because they'd worn themselves out:), plus it folds flat.
sherrard - we've just picked up the Argos supplement in our local paper, they have a load of things on offer at £15 for two, must end 22 Feb - have a look, loads of things half price too!
why don't you just do them a nice little party instead?
