What kind of relationship am I having with my best guy friend????

So, my best friend is my guy friend that I'm talking about, and I can't trust any of my girlfriends to give me legitimate, unexaggerated advice, so I'm praying one of y'all can help me.

Well, to be quick, my best guy friend comes from a very conservative household, so he's very modest. We're freshmen in college. I've pretty much liked him since I've met him, but I have NO idea how he feels about me. I've known him for about 6 months, and people are already saying we act just like a married couple. I sleep in his dorm more often than not, and since he can't sleep with me for the whole night, he'll spoon with me until I fall asleep and then go into his bed. We hold hands, lock arms, and cuddle frequently. I can tell him anything, and vice versa. We'll slightly rub each other faces silently (that's my favorite :)), give back massages, slow dance, all of the little things couples do, but the one thing missing? Committment!! I desperately just want to take that step and kiss him already! Or tell him that I'm tired of telling people that we're not together!

Sigh....what's a girl to do because you're always supposed to wait for the guy to make the first move...right??

Sorry but IMO that is sexist BS - ANYONE can make the 'first move'.
It looks like what you have here is great, just carry on enjoying it as is and if something more intimate develops naturally then so be it - don't feel pressured by what you believe to be "the done thing" is all I'm saying.

Having said all that, there is nothing wrong with you if you feel like you want 'more'.
