Does grammar bother you? Do you find yourself correcting people when they don't say things right?

I would love to correct bad grammar but I'm afraid it is generally regarded as bad manners.Ron.
I think its presumptuous. There's a little town called Cairo in Southern Illinois. Its pronounced Kay-row instead of Ki-row. I've had people try to correct me when I say it but its what its called. I said "burglarized" to somebody from Cambridge once and they said it wasn't a word. I said "burgled" sounded too much like "buggered" and I wasn't going to use it.
you speaks the way you speaks! do find myself talking proper if im around people who speak good Queens english tho!
I think it is best to keep your mouth shut unless you want a bunch of fives in it, or even two lovely black eyes. People do not like being corrected.
I do it sometimes but only with people who know I'm only joking. I wouldn't dream of correcting everybody, besides, I know that there are many times when I use bad grammar myself.
And I'm quite happy to be corrected, I would love to know that I'm speaking correctly, even if some people don't care.
I don't do it, but I correct everyone's errors (on paper) when I'm at work because that's part of my job.
There is a difference between grammar and pronunciation.
P.S. Two lovely black eyes, two lovely black eyes,
Only for telling a man he was wrong, two lovely black eyes.

Don't know how to do the music signs, but it is a part of an old music hall song.
Bad written grammar bugs me more, on my Bucket list is Take a red marker pen out wherever I go and correct apostrophe's. (Don't even bother, it's called irony)
there's nothing wrong with a bit of bad grammar if it's used correctly.

but no it's fine to me. I however find myself correcting pronunciation of words sometimes, a bit of a bad habit on my part but prefer to be corrected... sometimes.
as long as i can sort of understand them, then there is no problem for me. I'm crap at grammar and all that stuff anyway
When someone says "I ain't got nothing" I can't resist saying -"Oh so what do you have?"
"There is a difference between grammar and pronunciation".
True. My native dialect is pretty horrendous in its use of grammar and pronunciation but the more I travel the more homogenized it gets. It bothers me more to read it than hear it for some reason.
It's not acceptable, but sadly it's becoming the norm.
Did you mean " when they don't say things correctly "?
The only time to correct bad grammar, as far as I am concerned, would be as a way of getting back at someone being pretentious or generally objectionable. Dialect or regional speech is fine in my book.
Some things bother me, mainly written stuff eg apostrophe abuse/omission, but I'm nowhere near as anal as I used to be and find that it's all part of a diverse society.
Bad grammar is bad grammar but to correct somebody when what they are saying is perfectly understandable is just pedantic, I'm severely Dyslexic along with over 10% of the population, this often affects written grammar and punctuation. I really don't understand the need to correct people unless you don't understand what they are saying.
"Knock Knock!
"Who's there?"
"It is I" is the pedant's reply.
"It's me! is the educated person's response.
