What is the meaning of "remove the title weighting" in the following sentences?

"If this is a Grail-related issue, we should cross-reference against Grail keywords. I'll add a proximity parameter and remove the title weighting. That will limit our hits only to those instances of textual keywords that occur near a Grail-related word."

its part of doing a database search for information. If you add weighting to title, you say that articles with the words in the title are more wanted than articles with  the word in the text of the article. For instance if you search for articles where the title contains the word "Apple", you are likely to get less finds than if you search for articles where the titie or body of the article contain the word "apple" and those articles found are more likely to actually be about apples.
(part two) What they were doing in the book was searching in a different way. The title weighted search hadn't come up with anything useful but they knew that whatever they were looking for was linked to the grail, so they took out "title weighting" and looked for the search words where they occured in the same article and close to a previously decided list of words relating to the Grail. Like saying "find me articles containg the word "apple" but only if it occurs near the words"pie, crumble, baked, stewed" This would have the effect of not picking up articles about growing apples and focussing on articles about cooking them. Hope I have made this clear??
